TRENZSEATER has also received considerable international recognition on several platforms, as a finalist in the Andrew Martin Interior Design Review in London for consecutive years, also in London for the 7th consecutive year he has been a finalist in the SBID (Society of British International Design) award, along with being distinguished for four consecutive years with 5 Honourable Mentions in the renowned International Design Awards (IDA) in Los Angeles. And most recently in London has been shortlisted for the 8th consecutive year in the International Design & Architecture Awards who celebrate excellence in the interior design and architecture industry on a global scale. Most recently Ben won his category “Global Interior Design Scheme” which gives our service credibility on an international stage.
Ben has been fortunate, honoured and respected to have had the opportunities to engage in the interior design for some of the finest residential properties in New Zealand, and it is these projects which have been selected as finalists in the International awards and have seen Ben’s work published through invitation in “The World’s Leading Design Names” from 2018 – 2024

TRENZSEATER has been shortlisted for the 7th consecutive year, Ben Lewis is a finalist in London, at the SBID International Design Awards for 2023 (Society of British International Design). The SBID International Design Awards has firmly established itself as one of the most prestigious interior design Awards in the global design calendar. This Award for design standards attracts entries from across the world, making it truly an honour and a sign of industry recognition that is second to none for the deserving winners.
The awards recognise, reward and celebrate design excellence across a broad range of categories spanning Interior Design, Fit-Out and Product. Winning a SBID International Design Award is a high achievement – they are evaluated by leading industry experts for their technical content and aesthetic creativity while the design-conscious public also have a say in voting for the most inspiring projects.

TRENZSEATER has been recognised internationally for its interior design work directed by Ben Lewis for two consecutive years in the Andrew Martin Interior Design Review book. This is an accolade which is considered throughout the world as “the Oscars of interior design industry” by the London Times and judged by an acclaimed judging panel.
It is a privilege and an honour in the highest regard to be recognised as one of the top Interior Designers in the world and to be acknowledged alongside the ilk of previous winners including Kelly Hoppen, Thomas Pheasant, Michael Reeves and Axel Vervoordt, to name just a few.
INTERNATIONAL INTERIOR DESIGN AWARD (IDA)
TRENZSEATER is privileged to have been internationally recognised by the INTERNATIONAL DESIGN AWARD (IDA) in Los Angeles and has been distinguished for four years with 4 Honourable Mentions for their residential Interior Design work. An IDA honorary panel examines 1000’s of entries submitted by architects and designers of interiors, fashion, products, and graphics from 52 countries throughout the world. The panel rewards the best professional and emerging designers for their achievements in terms of design, creativity, usability and innovation.
The INTERNATIONAL DESIGN AWARD (IDA) is highly regarded and receives considerable international publicity through their industry presence, the official biennial ceremony in Los Angeles and through their books.
