FOUNDER OF TRENZSEATER / INTERIOR DESIGN DIRECTOR / GENERAL MANAGER 

BEN LEWIS established TRENZSEATER in 2000 to fulfil a niche in the market for tailor made luxury furniture. It was from this foundation that Ben grew TRENZSEATER into a national company with showrooms in Christchurch, Auckland & Queenstown, specialising in interior design, custom furniture designed by Ben and a large portfolio of International brands that TRENZSEATER distributes.

Ben has an infectious passion for Interior Design, and it was his passion that has grown TRENZSEATER’s significant Interior Design division, which Ben manages. Recently, it has been Ben’s excellence in interior design that has seen his work receive considerable international recognition on several platforms, as a finalist in the Andrew Martin Interior Design Review in London for consecutive years, also in London for the 6th consecutive year he has been a finalist in the SBID (Society of British International Design) award, along with being distinguished for four consecutive years with 5 Honourable Mentions in the renowned International Design Awards (IDA) in Los Angeles. And most recently in London has been shortlisted for the 7th consecutive year in the International Design & Architecture Awards who celebrate excellence in the interior design and architecture industry on a global scale. 2019 Ben won his category “Global Interior Design Scheme” which gives our service credibility on an international stage.

These accolades on a global scale have distinguished Ben Lewis as one of the most forefront current interior designers internationally.
